The Story of The Northern Media Company
The Northern Media Company (formerly KUPOD Productions) was established in 2023 by Matt Dean in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Matt has been podcasting since 2020 when he launched the award winning Boundary Park Alert System and Latics Football Phone In. Since then he has helped create and produce podcasts on a diverse range of topics.

Matt lived in Dublin, Ireland for ten years and upon returning to Oldham in 2021 he has been dedicated to creating an indepedant media production company that reflects the Lancashire town's working class heritage. There is an exciting future ahead for the town, which is just seven miles from the vibrant and booming Manchester city centre.
Located within the diverse and exciting creative hub of 1853 Studios & Gallery at Osborne Mill in Chadderton, Oldham, Northern Media’s facilities have grown from a single office to include two custom made, versatile podcast and content studios and use of a professional photo studio. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for founders, owner managed businesses and passionate individuals develop content and podcast ideas so you can grow your personal and professional brands. We'll support you with the creation of compelling video and audio content, planning social media, marketing campaigns and engaging your desired audience.
